Me

I was a computer/business teacher in the Norwood City Schools for 30 years. I retired in May, 2007. While teaching, I created and taught many different courses, including Personal Computer Applications, Advanced Personal Computer Applications, Internet, Advanced Internet, COBOL, Web Design, Business Computer Applications, Computer Graphics, Advertising and Living on Your Own. For five years, I was the Director of Educational Technology in our district, responsible for hardware and software on the over 1000 computers we had in the district.

Having a degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati and having several years experience in the business world, I was highly qualified to teach both computer and business classes at Norwood. I have designed several webpages for area businesses and organizations, including creating the original Norwood City School website in 1995.

I am probably best known for my volleyball coaching, having been the coach at Norwood for 10 years. With the help of great athletes, I was able to win five league championships there. I also coached at Ursuline Academy for 9 years while still teaching at Norwood -- winning a state championship in 1993 and being state runner-up in 1995. I am a member of the Norwood High School Athletic Hall of Fame, inducted in 2000; the Southwest Ohio Volleyball Coaches Assn Hall of Fame, inducted in 2005; and a member of the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Hall of Fame, inducted in 2006.

I live in Loveland, OH, where I have had a great place next to a large pond for 13 years.

In retirement, I plan to give volleyball lessons, help coaches through clinics and travel. You can see some of the places I have been in my photo section.
